chrismostume

My lovely friends in Portland started a tradition some years ago called Chrismostume. It's a Chistmas costume party where we all dress up as the holiday spirit. Some come as Tiny Tim, others decked out as pumpkin pie. We sing, perform choreographed dances, eat, drink, and laugh a lot. I was sad to miss it this year, but relieved that the tradition continues. To my pdx peeps - this mulled wine is for you!

I've been thinking a lot about timing and transitions. And I've been thinking they both suck. Really - life is supposedly all about timing and learning to accept that things happen for a reason even if that reason isn't obvious at first. I get it. I do. Doesn't mean it doesn't suck though.  Flowers help. Getting in the zone and creating arrangements can be soothing. So until all the current pieces make sense to me, I'm going to keep making flowers....
